MaintainIT provides total facility maintenance for multi-building corporate headquarters and manufacturing plant encompassing 3 million square feet including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building structure services and employing 35 personnel.

The Lexmark facility is a former IBM property and senior members of MaintainIT have a 20-year history (spanning both owners) related to the startup of the facility and the ongoing maintenance. All maintenance personnel were retained, and thus no interruption of service was experienced.

MaintainIT's partner Dewhit, Inc (see Partners) employs 145 personnel and operates from a 53 building, 4 campus complex covering more than 4 million square feet. Dewhit provides GlaxoSmithKline services for janitorial, emergency facility, storm/ice protection, relocation and supplemental facility support for this sprawling operation.

Dewhit has been able to deliver GlaxoSmithKline a 25% reduction in janitorial costs over the past 3 years and has participated in 3,000,000 facility group safe work hours. In 2004, Dewhit was recognized with 23 "Outstanding" performance awards and in 2003 was named "Minority Contractor of the Year" by GlaxoSmithKline.
